Mission Statement:
Envirovents provides online tools and resources for promoting the environmental community, creating efficiency, and to empower green-minded entrepreneurs through digital media and publicity.
Envirovents is a not-for-profit organization and will re-invest all funds into creating more automation tools for the community. Because we are technologically savvy individuals who create automation tools, we run our business on extremely low overhead.
Our future goal is to have a separate grant/fund specifically for personnel and overhead, so that 100% of donations will go directly to the creation of projects and tools.
The Envirovents Calendar:
Envirovents was created to solve several problems at once. One, it is cumbersome to search the many environmental calendars to find local events. Two, many events are missed because they were just aren't advertised well. Three, organizations spend countless hours inputting events into their own calendars. We aim to change all that, allowing organizations to collaborate their events at the same time as giving users the ability to submit their event once and have it broadcasted to all calendars, websites, social networks, and even event listing websites.
We provide tools/widgets/social networking/deployment to all major calendars, personal calendars, and share events between organizations. We don't want to re-invent the wheel, simply make everyone's wheels much more powerful! Our website aims to enhance (not replace) all local calendars, mass publicize them, and make it easy for any organization to add their own calendar to their website with selected events.
Publicity
We provide an outlet for organizations to spread their message.. Our goal is to allow viral promotion to the general public of events, workshops, classes, shows, conferences, films, etc., which are educating people about environmental awareness in their everyday lives.
We want to make it easier, more affordable, and less time consuming to create and promote the events which educate the world.
Green Entrepreneurs
We also provide an outlet for green-minded entrepreneurs and consultants who promote environmental education through events and/or the Internet. Whether it be visually through digital media, planning an event, or creating websites, we want to make it easier for entrepreneurs to be successful and develop more creative content for educating people around the world.

Funding
Please help contribute to this site, as it takes a lot of time and effort to maintain, with very little payback. We created this calendar system. purely for the good of the environmental community and was privately funded by the founder, Justin Link. Justin saw the need for a centralized and shared source of events and did not want the project to be saturated with profit-driven motives. Instead, Envirovents provides FREE tools and services to everyone and hopes that people will find the service to save them time and money, hopefully providing an equal generosity by giving donations in return. Revenues from advertisements and services beyond the scope of the free calendar, will go directly to maintenance and personnel support.
Many improvements are underway, but are hoping to generate donations for continued growth. Our goal is to provide open-source tools for the environmental community as a whole!
